The Liebster Blog Award

Liebster Blog Award:

Over the last few days, I received five rejection letters from seven literary agents who expressed interest in my manuscript a few weeks ago at the NYC Writer’s Digest Conference. Each agent had their own reason as to why they weren’t the right fit to represent me, but regardless, each letter was as disappointing as the next. It has been difficult trying to surpass the obstacle of having received numerous No’s for my book, but Jen from http://steponacrack.wordpress.com/ has constantly commented on my blog posts, making sure that I continue to work hard rather than give up. I am beyond grateful for such support from fellow bloggers, and I couldn’t thank her enough for everything she has done for me, including this award. Thanks for the motivation Jen!

“Leibster is German & means ‘Dearest’ or ‘Beloved’ but it can also mean ‘Favourite’ & the idea of the Leibster award is to bring attention to blogs with less than 200 followers all in the spirit of gathering more connections”

  1. Show your thanks to the blogger who gave you the award by linking back to them.
  2. Reveal your top  picks for the award and let them know by leaving a comment on their blog.
  3. Post the award on your blog.
  4. Bask in the love from the most supportive people on the blogsphere – other bloggers.
  5. And, best of all – have fun and spread the karma.
With that being said, I would like to present the Liebster award to the following blogs:
1. http://lavieeclectique.com/
2. http://findingmyworth.wordpress.com/
3. http://trulytwenties.wordpress.com/
4. http://russianmomcooks.wordpress.com/
5. http://janeannethorne.wordpress.com/
There are plenty of other blogs I would like to present this award to, but these are just a few of the ones which really stick out to me. Congrats everyone and thanks for the honor Jen!

  4. Congrats on your nomination! Keep pressing your YES will come. I also sale Jewelry through Premier Designs a wonderful product and company, but when I started just under a year ago I coudn’t figure out why people couldn’t see what I saw in the product and or the company. How could they not want to buy such quality jewelry? How could they not want to be a sales rep? I didn’t get it. But training after training I was taught that every no brings us that much closer to a yes! So when we do rewards in our trainings we also give prizes to the people who recieved the most NO’s because that means they are still out there pushing there business and are one step closer to that YES that could change their lives forever. So rejoice in the No’s as hard as it is. Remember that when you become the award winning author those people who said no are going to be kicking themselves in the booty. It’s their loss, not yours! So yay for your No’s!!! Your yes is just around the corner! Keep the faith.

Thanks for the motivation! I can definitely relate to your story, and it helps to see that there are so many people out there with similar situations when it comes to receiving the word No. But like you said, our Yes is right around the corner!
